Aja Forner has lived and worked in Carpinteria for 18 years, building a career, community & family life centered on service.

Community Involvement

  • Active in local animal-assisted therapy and community wellness programs

  • Collaborates with local nonprofits and partner organizations across Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties

  • Serves on the board of the Carpinteria Rotary Club, Carpinteria Middle School and is a Paul Harris Fellow

  • Member of the Women's Fund of Santa Barbara

  • Elected Library Commissioner for the City of Carpinteria, serving as current Vice-Commissioner

  • Past leadership roles include Canalino PTA President, Co-Founder of the Mom’s Demand Action - Carpinteria Chapter
